Rules

All In Poker League Event Rules (not all inclusive)

  1. By playing a sanctioned event, all players agree to and abide by all rules of All In Poker League and the TDA Rules (modifications listed below). 
  2. All decisions made by the Tournament director are final
  3. All events are FREE to enter. Chips have no cash value and are for play purposes only. 
  4. Players receive League Points based on event finishes. (final table only)
  5. Players must be at least 18 years of age. (exceptions may be granted if accompanied by parent)
  6. Players who do not follow the rules, will receive a verbal notice, penalty, then removed.
  7. All In Poker representatives reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
  8. No weapons of any kind are allowed in any All In Poker event. 
  9. Gambling, cheating, stealing or placing currency on the poker table IS NOT allowed and those caught engaging in these acts will be banned from future events. 
  10. Excessive use of profanity or obscene language, causing a disturbance by arguing, shouting or making excessive noise is not allowed and those caught engaging in these acts will be subject to penalties or removal from the event. (determined by the tournament director)
  11. Throwing, tearing, bending, crumpling cards or chips is not allowed and those caught engaging in these acts will be subject to penalties or removal from the event. 
  12. Seating is first come first serve at regular games. Seating at monthly, semi annual, or fundraisers will be assigned by the tournament director.
  13. At the beginning of the event, the dealer button position will be determined by the tournament director by drawing a position card from a deck.
  14. Alternates and late players must be registered and arrive prior to the end of the 1st break (1 hour and 10 minutes) in order to play.
  15. Late players may enter the game without penalty, with a full starting stack without being blinded out.
  16. Alternates may join the event as soon as a seat is available. No blinds are required unless they are in the big blind seat. 
  17. Players from a broken table can receive cards on the button and in the small blind. Alternates and late players may receive their first hand on the button or in the small blind. 
  18. Chips must remain on the poker tables at all times, with the highest denomination chips clearly visible. 
  19. Bonus tokens must be on the table prior to the start of a hand for them to be live. If a player is given bonus tokens in the middle of a hand and is eliminated on that particular hand, the bonus tokens are void and given back to the tournament director. 
  20. Players who are away from the table for more than 20 minutes or 1 full blind level, whichever comes first, will be removed from the tournament. 
  21. The dealer may fold your cards if you are not at the table when the last card is dealt.
  22. The dealer may fold your cards if you are on a cell phone when it’s your turn to act. 
  23. Announce bets or raises clearly. No string bets allowed. Do not splash the pot. 
  24. An oversize chip bet is a call, unless previously declared a raise. 
  25. Raises must be at least the amount of any previous raise (or bet), except when all-in. 
  26. Players must show both of their cards to win a contested pot. 
  27. Side pots will be used when necessary. 
  28. If player 1 shows their live cards to player 2 (who is still in the hand), then player 1 must show everyone. Known as the show one, show all  rule.
  29. If player 1 shows their live cards to player 2 (who has folded), then any player may request to see player 1′s cards after the hand is complete. 
  1. Blinds will be raised throughout the tournament according to the Blind Schedule. Players are obligated to pay all blinds in turn. 
  2. Dead Button: If the player in the small blind is eliminated, the button moves to the empty seat. Players post blinds as normal. 
  3. Dead Small Blind: If the player in the big blind is eliminated, the small blind is dead and only the big blind is posted. 
  4. If two players are eliminated on the same hand, the player who started the hand with more chips is awarded the higher finish position. 
  5. Re-seat players and draw card for button at final table.
  6. When two players remain, the player due to assume the big blind does so. The player in the small blind gets the button and acts 1st prior to the flop & 2nd after the flop. 
  7.  There will be NO smoking or vaping indoors at any All In Poker Event.

Bonus Chip Rules: *

*Guidelines – bonus chip ups may change at TD’s discretion based on venue and circumstances

  1. All bonus chip values for food and beverage will be determined by the tournament director and venue. The venue reserves the right to determine if they wish to have bonus chips.
  2. Dealers will receive 2000 extra bonus chips at the beginning of the game. If the same dealer is still dealing after the second break, he/she will receive an additional 5000 chips.
  3. Dealers who start dealing after the second break will receive a 5000 bonus card, to be used at a future event.
  4. The tournament director may award bonus chips for helping setup / take down tables prior to or after the event. A player may receive bonus chips for tables they help setup or take down. 
  5. The maximum bonus chips you may receive for chip up will be determined by the total prize payout. Example: If the payout is $100, the maximum a player can spend on chip up is $100. 
  6. Players may use a maximum of 4 bonus cards at any All In Poker Event.
  7. Tournament directors may choose to do up to 2 bonus hands per event, and must do so before the second break, but are not obligated to do so. The maximum any person can receive during bonus hands is 1000 chips.
  8. Bonus chips will be awarded to completed hands that are called down (Quads and greater only; TD will determine bonus chip awarded based upon hand).

Starting Bonus Chips: Guidelines

  1. Each player may receive the following chips prior to entering the game. (maximum 3000 chips)
  2. 500 chips for being early. (Early is defined as being at the venue 10 minutes prior to the game start. Any player not at the venue prior is not eligible for the early chip.
  3. 500 chips for veteran / active military players (may vary based on venue)
  4. 500 chips for a qualifying monthly player
  5. 500 chips per article of visible All In clothing or All In Poker Merchandise
  6. 500 chips per article of visible “Venue” merchandise at the venue.
  7. Bonus chips may be given for “Veterans Contributions” in lieu of food / beverage purchases at the venue.
